Minimum Balance Reduced to Rs.50 for Getting POSB ATM/Debit Card

Financial Service (FS) division of Department of Post has issued order effecting the reduction of minimum balance to be required to get a POSB ATM/Debit card. As per the new order vide F. No. 25-3/2014-FS-CBS (Part 1) dated 07.10.2015 a depositor who are opening an account with Rs.50 can apply for ATM/Debit card. The original order is given below.
